2. The Service

PriceScan provides AI-generated estimates of the approximate value or retail price of products and collectibles, along with related information such as where items may be purchased. Price estimates are approximations generated by automated systems and may differ from actual retail prices. You are responsible for verifying any information before relying on it to make a purchase or other decision.

3. Accounts and credentials

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular, you must not:

• use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive purpose;
• send spam or engage in abusive or harmful conduct;
• infringe the intellectual property or other rights of any party;
• interfere with or compromise the security or integrity of the Service, including introducing malware, probing or scanning systems, or scraping data without permission;
• reverse engineer, resell, redistribute, or circumvent any technical limitations of the Service.

5. Intellectual property

The Service and all associated intellectual property, including software, documentation, branding, and content (excluding your own content), are and remain the property of pricescan and its licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

6. Service availability and warranties

We work to keep the Service available but do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, pricescan will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you materially breach these Terms, pose a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly or seriously violate our policies. You may stop using the Service at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends; we may delete your data after a reasonable period.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which pricescan operates, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
